Throne of Glass (the entire series) was magnificentIt’s one of the few fantasy series I still love and enjoy, and I wholly trust SJM’s storytelling skills. I have high hopes for book 5 in this amazing series. I loved each book in the series; book 1 and book 2 were interesting and romantic, whereas in book 3 the whole thing blew out into a huge affair and everything became just ten times bigger. Book 4 was a fantastic read, though I had a few issues with the characterization and the romances. But, the reading experience? A+

I hope this book is even better than the previous ones! Especially after the absolutely stunning and marvellous (I’m using SO many adjectives today XD) A Court of Mist and FuryI have super high hopes for this one, and I hope it doesn’t dissapoint.

I can’t really give away the actual story of the last books and where things are at the moment (because, spoilers) but in a gist, the series is about an young assassin. That’s it. You don’t need to know anymore about this : just go into the books blind. As for the official summary of Empire of Storms, here it is :

The long path to the throne has only just begun for Aelin Galathynius. Loyalties have been broken and bought, friends have been lost and gained, and those who possess magic find themselves at odds with those don’t.

As the kingdoms of Erilea fracture around her, enemies must become allies if Aelin is to keep those she loves from falling to the dark forces poised to claim her world. With war looming on all horizons, the only chance for salvation lies in a desperate quest that may mark the end of everything Aelin holds dear.

Aelin’s journey from assassin to queen has entranced millions across the globe, and this fifth installment will leave fans breathless. Will Aelin succeed in keeping her world from splintering, or will it all come crashing down?

So that was it for my post!

Which book are you waiting on this week?
